We often believe our children have the luxury of living without a care in the world—but they experience stress too! Stress can significantly affect behavior, academic performance, attention and focus, social interactions, and sense of well-being…and yet stress is often overlooked as an “adult issue.” With this in mind, Strategies for Success is proud to offer this essential and highly sought after stress awareness series for children. Your child will learn how to recognize stressors in his or her environment, become aware of signs and symptoms of stress in their body and mind, and master “Triple A Techniques;” all to effectively build an early, strong, and preventative foundation for your child’s future.
This outstanding program provides a practical framework for managing both short term and long term stress. Learn the skills necessary to: Identify internal and external sources of stress, recognize and evaluate the effectiveness of current coping skills, understand how stress affects the body and mind, improve situations influenced by stress, maximize personal and work related performance, and develop effective tools and techniques to manage overwhelming physical and emotional symptoms associated with stress. In combination with “Triple A Stress Techniques,” students will design a personalized “stress map” that will serve as a foundation for mastering stress now, and in the future.
